eBay has signed a partnership agreement with InPost, the Polish ecommerce delivery company. Sellers on eBay now get access to InPost’s parcel lockers throughout the UK. The move will provide sellers with more flexible postal solutions.
Earlier this year, popular marketplace eBay rolled out an end-to-end fulfillment service for eBay business sellers in the UK. The service promised faster delivery options, improved logistics management and more streamlined processes.
For casual sellers
The new partnership with InPost caters toward the growing number of casual sellers on eBay. They require postal solutions that work around their jobs. In March this year, eBay published a report that stated that 67 percent of UK sellers have started selling pre-owned goods during the pandemic to earn extra cash.

The agreement gives these sellers access to InPost’s network of more than 2.500 parcel lockers throughout the UK. They’re available 24/7 and are placed at locations such as train stations, petrol stations and supermarkets.
InPost aims for 3.000 lockers by the end of 2021
InPost will brand 250 lockers across the UK with the eBay logo. The delivery company wants to have the largest automated parcel machine network in the UK. By the end of 2021, it aims to have placed 3.000 parcel lockers and over 10.000 by 2024.
